I know, I know, its been a long time-and I apologize for that. Since we last spoke I had started a new job, went through huge amounts of anxiety, finished my training, and now am on the “floor” working independently. I have to say its been a challenge the last few months getting used to going back to a full schedule from 9 am to 6 pm every day (not including the 30 minute drive).
I expressed my anxiety and fears I faced starting the new job and some how I worked through it and found some kind of peace with my new situation. I have also met some awesome people and new friends in the process and I couldn’t be happier. I have a lot of new things coming up, including a working, business, partnership with one of my new coworkers and we are so excited to share our upcoming work with you all.
I have made the decision to separate my mental health posts and beauty blog posts, and create a new blog dedicated to my mental health struggles. This will set up a new platform to express my feelings and what is going on in my life as well as welcome a new audience of people who have similar experiences and challenges, providing education, and an open forum for all. I want to make sure that I keep my beauty blog strictly beauty related and my mental health blog for just that, mental health.
I am currently, in the process of creating my second blog and I invite all of you to join me-if you want of course, to my new blog where I share my innermost feelings and my mental health journey. I feel as though the lines of a beauty blog and a mental health blog have been skewed and I tend to focus on one or the other depending on how I feel that day, and that is confusing to the audience that I initially drew in because of my beauty blogging content. I want to make sure that the two platforms are completely different, focusing on one topic, rather than multiple. I plan to move my mental health posts from my Ella Eris Beauty to my mental health blog Manz Mental Health.
As soon as my new blog is up and running I will be sharing all of the information with you all.
Thank you for sticking with me through my journey, not only my beauty journey, but my mental health journey as well. I look forward to creating new content, which you all deserve.
