Hello blogging babes!
Today I wanted to share my feelings regarding some Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore, sold at both Walmart and Ulta stores.
Initially, this was going to be a review on the Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation, however, I decided to incorporate two other Flower beauty products that I have tried and love to death.
Alright, I have a lot to say about this little gem…I have worn this foundation twice now, both times applied with different techniques, tools, and primers and I just can’t seem to get fully engaged in this product. After just two hours of wear, I have creasing near my nostrils and foundation breaking apart and separating on my t zone. I will say that the consistency of the product is great, nice and thick helping the application process to be smooth and simple…I really wish I liked this foundation better. However, after two uses I can already gauge where this is going and I just can’t get behind this product.
Flower Beauty definately got it right with this highlighting palette….I tested this out in an Ulta store one day and I FELL IN LOVE. The powders are so beautiful and creamy and apply so effortlessly. The color payoff and shimmer are to die for…this highlight is BLINDING. I mix all the colors together with a small fan brush and apply to all the high points on my face. I honestly cannot stop obsessing over this palette. Ten out of ten on this one, Flower Beauty!!!
Have you ever tried a setting spray that just squirted out of the bottle at you leaving large amounts of droplets on your skin? OR, have you ever tried a setting spray that had a foul chemically odor to it and you just couldn’t take it so you throw it away? I WANT YOU TO TRY THIS SETTING SPRAY RIGHT NOW. I have heard beauty gurus on YouTube RAVE about the misting quality of this product as well as the scent, which I could just spray until the bottle is gone….This setting spray almost has the same mist as an aerosol can would giving it an even spray across the face. I cannot get enough of this spray. I use it in conjunction with a heavy duty setting spray such as Ben Nye Final Seal or Green Marble and it works wonders. You have to try this stuff, you will not be disappointed!
So, in conclusion, 2/3 favorites isn’t too bad! Honestly, I love these products and I really would love to love the foundation but it just doesn’t seem as though it will be a good combo with my skin type. I may give it another go, but I’ve run out of techniques to try. Hopefully, one of you may try it and give your honest review as well-I would love to hear it’s worked out well for someone!
Let me know in the comments what your favorite Flower Beauty product is, or if you have tried the brand at all! I’m very curious to know! And if you have any suggestions on some more Flower Beauty products you love, also leave them in the comments!
Until next time….xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
