The Results Are In…No7 Early Defence GLOW ACTIVATING Serum

Hi my beautiful blogging buddies!

I mentioned a few posts ago that I was working on some new projects that involve me trying a product for X amount of days and showing the progress or lack there of to see if the product lives up to the hype or promises made.

The first project I am excited to share with you is now complete and I cannot wait to show you the results and hear your opinions.

The first product that I chose to put to the test is the No7 Early Defence Glow Activating Serum, which promises “Glowing, healthier looking skin in 1 week.” I purchased this product a few months ago when I was on a kick to try No7 products, and as you know, from earlier posts, radiant, glowing, skin is my number one skincare goal. So, naturally, I picked this product up as well as some brightening serums as well. I seemed to only use this product sometimes and we all know that if we use a product only once in awhile and not consistently you really aren’t going to see results. After looking at all of the skin care items I had purchased and not used consistently I decided to not only use up the products that I already own, but to make it a ritual so I can see results and share them with you, my blogging buddies.

So without further ado, here are my results, based on a 7 day regimen of only using my regular face wash and the No7 Early Defence GLOW ACTIVATING Serum:

Photos above, in chronological order L-R, day 1 – day 7

Above, L-R, comparison, day 1 – day 7

I believe there is quite a visible different between days one and seven, the progress is well documented through the photos. Truly, this product works!

The consistency of the product was perfect for my oily skin type as the serum is not heavy or thick at all. There is no smell to the product and the application is very smooth and even. I noticed throughout the day my skin did not feel as oily as it would with even my holy grail, Garnier Clearly Brighter Moisturizer. There were no new breakouts during the process of this experiment. I plan to continue using this product and will not hesitate to repurchase.

This product retails anywhere form $22.99 to $24.99 and can be purchased at Ulta, Walgreens, and Target stores.

10/10 highly recommended product!!!

    1. Thank you and I literally use NOTHING! I honestly love makeup I really do but I have this crippling anxiety that if I wear foundation every day I’m going to break out. Honestly, I feel so ugly sometimes and it really messes with my self esteem…I wish I could do A full beat every morning…skin care I guess is the second best thing to wearing foundation

      1. Aww hun! Yeh anxiety is an absolute pain in the a*s I tell you! But believe me you are beautiful. Yeh I get super paranoid about wearing foundation and getting spots, I only wear it if I’m on a shoot and even then I’m freaking out x

      2. Thank you doll you are super beautiful as well!!! I pretty much feel like if i can’t do the whole “sha-bang” with my makeup (foundation, concealer, contour, bake, highlight, so on and so forth) I just don’t want to do it at all!!! I used to just do eyes and brows and I could get back to doing that now that my skin is under control 🙏🤞. That’s why I also like to get microblading done because it just beautifully and effortlessly frames the face perfect!

      3. That’s like me! I’ll only do some half as*ed concealer under my eyes, some eyeshadow and a bit of mascara whenever I go out and then I’ll see these girls whose faces are beat to perfection and I’ll feel crappy. Brows make such a huge frickin difference, mine are quite thick so whenever they grow out my whole face just looks off. Just do whatever makes you happy hun, don’t feel pressure to do a full face if you don’t want to, especially now you’re happy with your skin 💖
